Coronavirus has now spread all over the world affecting over half a million people and causing multiple fatalities across 199 countries. Many countries have now enforced heavy lockdowns to prevent any further spread of disease and to reduce panic among the people. Many are now unable to come out of their homes.
Feeling bored being locked in your own home? Here are a few things you might consider doing to pass time Efficiently and Productively:
1. Reading is a very good habit:
Reading is a good habit which everyone needs to possess. Reading a good book not only uplifts your spirit but will also help build your confidence. Books are known to be a person’s best friend. The right book can not only reduce your stress, but will also lighten your mood.
2. Some art ‘n Craft? :
Art and craft is the expression of sharing cultural spirit, the view and meaning of life and existence. Art is the eye and heart of the individual that is shared by many… it provides motivation, movement and solace. It also increases one’s creativity and imagination.
3. Let the poet inside you unfurl:
Why not write a poem? A poem allows a person to share their deep, hidden feelings with people and the world. It relaxes the mind and increases vocabulary and literary fluency. It makes for a very productive use of time too!
4. Spend quality time with Family :
Spend time with your family members! Gossip, play, share your feelings and thoughts. It will help you to know them better and strengthen bonds and ties with them. Spending family time together ensures that a deep, strong, family bond develops. Talk, laugh, enjoy!
5. Movies? Songs? :
Watching movies, web series and listening to Songs, allows for a good source of entertainment to relax your mind, especially when everyone around is so worried and tensed. It will lighten your mood too. So, have cup of coffee and let the reels roll!
6. Cook healthy, Eat healthy:
Staying at home provides us with a nice opportunity to experiment with new healthy foods. Research finds that people who eat home-cooked meals on a regular basis tend to be happier and healthier and consume less sugar and processed foods, which can result in higher energy levels and better mental and physical health.
